High-intensity supports are daily personal activities that must be delivered by trained and competent support workers because of a participant's complex health and disability needs. EllaWinnie Care Services provides these supports within its approved scope of service, in line with each participant's individual care plans.
Depending on the participant's individual needs and care plans, support may relate to complex bowel care, enteral feeding and management, dysphagia support, urinary catheter support, subcutaneous injections, complex wound care and other approved high-intensity supports.
Supports are provided in accordance with individual care plans, relevant clinical guidance and staff competency requirements. Relevant staff receive participant-specific training, competencies are maintained and reviewed, risks and emergency procedures are documented, and changes or concerns are documented and escalated to the participant and their care team.
We welcome referrals from participants, families, guardians, Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, hospitals and discharge teams, allied health professionals and other health professionals. You can use our online referral form or call 0450 420 452.
Eligibility and funding depend on the participant's individual NDIS plan and circumstances. Our team can talk with you about how our services may fit with a participant's plan and goals. Official NDIS information is available at ndis.gov.au.
